Lou Parrotta is a History teacher at Proctor High School. He is the city of Utica Historian, serves as the president of the Oneida County Historians Association, and is a longtime member, and past president of the Oneida County Historical Center’s Board of Trustees.

Lou has co-authored two books, writes a monthly history column for Daily Sentinel, and frequently speaks to local groups on Utica’s long history.
